How does red light therapy work?
Red light is thought to work by producing a biochemical effect in cells that strengthens the mitochondria. The mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell — it’s where the cell’s energy is created. The energy-carrying molecule found in the cells of all living things is called ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
By increasing the function of the mitochondria using RLT, a cell can make more ATP. With more energy, cells can function more efficiently, rejuvenate themselves, and repair damage.
RLT is different from laser or intense pulsed light (IPL) therapies because it doesn’t cause damage to the skin surface. Laser and pulsed light therapies work by causing controlled damage to the outer layer of the skin, which then induces tissue repair. RLT bypasses this harsh step by directly stimulating regeneration of the skin. The light emitted by RLT penetrates roughly 5 millimeters below the skin’s surface.

Frequently asked questions
Q1: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A: We are a manufacturer, providing OEM & ODM service. Our design department, engineering department, sales department and production merchandiser to serve you together. Welcome to contact us anytime.
Q2. What medical certifications do you have?
A: FDA 510(k), TGA, MDL, UL IEC 60601-1, ETL, SAA, CE, ROHS, FCC, ISO13485, and MDSAP/Customized
Q3. What is the difference between red and near infrared light therapy?
A: Red and near infrared light therapy are exactly the same except for two differences: Red light is visible and near infrared
light is invisible. Near infrared light penetrates into the body deeper than red light.
Q4. How long does it take for red light therapy to work?
Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.
Q5. Do I need to continue to use the light as much when I start seeing results?
Yes. Just because you're seeing results, it doesn't mean that your skin cells are finished doing their jobs. It's just that the
results of their efforts are starting to become something you can see and/or feel. Keep up the treatments until you reach your goal level of results. Then you can start a weekly maintenance schedule.
